2020 Annual Hawaii Kai Holiday Parade Cancellation Announcement
To all Prospective Holiday Parade Participants and Volunteers:
Although not unexpected, the Hawaii Kai Lions Club and the Koko Marina Center would like to take this opportunity to officially inform all of you of the cancellation of the 2020 Annual Hawaii Kai Holiday Parade. We had been hoping for sufficient positive improvements in the COVID crisis to possibly stage some form of a modified parade, but sadly, that is not the case.
We extend our sincere gratitude for your past participation in our much-anticipated Annual Holiday Parade. In the past, your collective commitment and enthusiasm made it possible to orchestrate such a large event and bring the joy of the holidays to our wonderful community. I look forward to your continued enthusiasm in 2021 for an even bigger and better Holiday Parade!
In the meantime, Stay Safe and Take Care! Through it all, we still have so much to be grateful for!
Ken Nishibun, Parade Chair, Hawaii Kai Lions Club
