Eye Glass Cleaning Project

Eyeglass Cleaning Project Submitted by Keith Katsuda After finishing vision & hearing screenings at our area schools, in early February we helped Koko Head Lions with vision testing grades 3 and 5 at Aina Haina and with vision & hearing testing grade 6 at Niu Valley, service more than 200 students. Other clubs assisted, including Ala Moana, Chinatown, East Manoa Mililani and Pearl City. Those participating from our club were Delwin Ching, Dennis Ching, Cynthia Chun, Dr. Roger Ede, Dolores ElmsBeattie, Bobby & Lilian Kane, Ed Lee, Bill Liu, C. F. Leu, Ralph & Troy Nakamura, Ken Nishibun, Toshi & Florence Nishioka, Richard Okamoto, Clara Ozaki & guest, Sindi Sindiong, PDG Merv & Carole Wee and Rick & Lyn Yee. On March 2nd we will be assisting The Kaimuki Lions as they embark on their quest to service the schools within their area beginning with Queen Liliuokalani.
