Aloha Lions, CIS and friends,

As we get closer to the holidays, it seems time is accelerating!  November 4, Daylight Saving Time Ends. This is especially important for those who have family residing in the mainland and especially on the east coast.

I would like to give a Big Mahalo to Ellsworth and Marja for stepping in and conducting the October 4th Club Meeting and 11th Board Meeting, respectively.  I had a wonderful family trip to Maryland.

Thanks to Committee Chair Ken, Lions PDG Roy Aoki and Lion Walter Kuroiwa for filling and delivering Koko Head Elementary Schools wish list items. Principal Shitaoka extends his sincere appreciation.

At our October 18 meeting we had guest speaker Steve Wong, President of Hawaii Lions Foundation (HLF), please see Peggy’s report for time sensitive information.  We also had our  Leo’s Induction and Installation.
