Hawaii Kai Lions District 50 - Club Number 14324

Father’s Day Breakfast

The Hawaii Kai Lions Club holds one principal fundraising event – the Annual Father’s Day Benefit Breakfast – now well into its fourth decade to raise funds to support the numerous community service activities.

Hawaii Kai Lions has held its Father’s Day Breakfast since 1973.

Each year the Lions and their companions start on Saturday to prepare for the breakfast. Then on Sunday (Father’s Day) from 6:30 – 10:30 we served over 3,000 breakfasts.  This comes out to more than 9,000 pancakes, 9,000 sausages, and a whole bunch of scrambled eggs.

Funds raised through this event will be used to fund the many Lions Club volunteer projects in the community such as vision and hearing screening for preschool and elementary school children in East Oahu, Rescue Tube project, projects and monetary support for East Oahu public schools and the Hawaii Kai Library, Kaiser High School Project Graduation, Junior Police Officer (JPO) appreciation events, environmental clean up projects, and much more.

You can be a part of our club as we are always looking for those who want to help our community. -> Interested in being a Lion?
